Fill in the form below to let the Swedish Tax Agency know about possible fraud or other irregularities with regard to tax or population registration. We follow up on all information we receive.
Here are a few things to consider when letting us know about these issues:
If someone is incorrectly registered as living at your address
You can see the names of everyone who is registered at your address by logging into the population registration (“folkbokföring”) e-service, which is available through the “My pages” (“Mina sidor”) section of the Swedish Tax Agency website and app. To check the names, click on “Show all individuals registered at the same address as you” (“Visa folkbokförd på samma address som du”). You can report any incorrect details through the e-service.
The Swedish Tax Agency has responsibility for taxation and population registration. If your information relates to a different area, please contact the relevant authority instead – for example the police, the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan).
If your information is about fraud concerning short-time work allowance (“korttidsarbete”, or “korttidspermittering”), please contact the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket).
